Frances Palmer, the celebrated ceramic artist, creates vases and pots of unusual invention. Each vessel she makes for us inspires very specific treatment at our hands, and we’ve taken great pleasure in taking them to extremes. We were also fortunate enough to get to chop away at Frances’ magnificent tennis court dahlia garden. There’s a special frisson that occurs when designing with the artists’ own beloved tubers in the pots made by her hands.
