EMILY THOMPSON FLOWERS EMILY THOMPSON FLOWERS

T MAGAZINE AND BVLGARI

This spring dinner, prepared by one of the T Magazine’s honorees, Chef Dalad Khambu, was set within an exhibition of Alec Soth’s work at the Sean Kelly Gallery, (designed by another honoree Toshiko Mori).  Upon entry, guests were photographed in front of a wall of dogwood, and then entered the galleries to dine under two massive flowering dogwood “trees”.  By contrast, the tables were set with little gold bowls of the most tiny and delicate spring flowers, meandering down the long banquet tables like droplets of water.  Beeswax tapers glowed among the dancing stems.  Some guests took home specialty narcissus bulbs for their gardens.
