ULLA JOHNSON RUNWAY – FW 22
Our set for Ulla Johnson’s runway at the New York Public Library was composed of two monoliths. The largest was a massive form made from thousands of mimosa puffballs, that twisted in on itself, forming crevasses and tunnels, some partly hidden by waterfalls of string-of-pearls. It’s smaller, slug-shaped companion ended in curling rivulets. The fragrance of the mimosa (Acacia dealbata) filled the hall.
