JASON WU RUNWAY – FW 21
This runway, part beaver dam, part crashing surf, was built of entirely vegetal material, with lichen-covered mountain laurel as both structure and silhouette. A forest of white quince branches frothed and foamed, cascading into small mountain ranges of mimosa and eucalyptus seed heads. Here and there, a Paphiopedilum orchid bobbed to the surface like small otter or beaver building its dam.
